Artist's Biography:

Mr. Mason has traveled globally investigating and describing in his canvases the exalted in the commonplace - the lyrical play of color in which twentieth century architecture, and the uneasy truce between illumination and shadow reveal a spectral history and the human pathos within it. His oil paintings, always taken from life, reflect frequently arduous days of work living within the painting's environment.
